Russian customs authorities have seized 100 kg of cocaine at a port in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, the country’s Federal Customs Service said in a statement Friday.

The cocaine bricks were hidden in refrigerated containers that stored bananas onboard ships that had arrived from Belgium, according to the customs service.

Two criminal cases have been opened into the incident.
