Cirilo Enterprise Consult, a business consultancy firm, and social enterprise organization have organised a Bootcamp and orientation for 20 unemployed graduates in the Western Region.
The “Skills and Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Unemployed Graduates” (SEDUG) is to give unemployed graduates skills set and entrepreneurship capabilities to enable them set up and run their own businesses and get a livelihood.
Alice Ama Darko, Chief Executive Officer of Cirilo told the GNA that the first cohort would receive training in various trade areas such as fashion design, shoe manufacture, web design, mobile App development, solar systems installation and Agricultural production and Agribusiness.
She said the group would be taken through six months of skills training and two months of business incubation after which they would be supported to set up their businesses and receive post-training mentorship.
The group at the orientation were exposed to knowledge from various stakeholders and experts to prepare them for the journey ahead in the world of Business.
