The 2021 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is underway at all designated examination centres throughout Krachi East Municipality.
Mr Sarfo Nketia, head of the examination, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Ministry of Education has made all the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth examination.
He assured the chief of Kparekpare, Nana Foster Atta Owusu III, he will run and conduct a peaceful smooth atmosphere to maintain the centre.
Mr Francis Kofi Okesu, Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) wished all candidates were scheduled for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and encouraged them to work hard and come out with flying colours.
Mr Okesu expressed gratitude to everyone, especially teachers for their roles played in helping the candidates for the examination.
He said the basis of success is hard work and so all candidates, invigilators and supervisors should eschew examination malpractices during the exams.
He assured them of strict adherence to coronavirus protocols.
