THE Young Investors Network, organizers of the annual Young Investors Stock Pitch Competition, has launched the 2021 edition. The competition aims at using innovative ways of engaging the minds of young people on the Ghana Stock Exchange and financial literacy in general.
As part of the competition, students would select a public company listed on the Ghana stock exchange to analyze and write a pitch report on the company and recommend whether investors should buy more shares, sell their shares or hold on to their shares.
The competition, which would begin at the end of March would take the students through weeks of mentorship. It would also teach the skills and provide hands-on mentoring in financial analysis for students.
