Somalia’s regional Puntland Security Force (PSF) said Saturday its forces killed four ISIS-Somalia fighters in a fierce fighting at their base in the northeast part of the country.

PSF said two of its soldiers sustained light injuries during the fighting at ISIS-Somalia base in Timirse village on Friday evening.

The regional forces recognized the great role the local populations have played in their support for the troops who have intensified the fight against the terrorists in the region.

The so-called ISIS wing in Somalia has its main base in the Puntland region. Enditem
