In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mali’s Defense Minister Tieman Hubert Coulibaly said fighting between the Malian forces and the terrorists continued until Monday morning.
“One of the Malian soldiers was injured, five are missing, one vehicle was burnt and four others were taken away,” the minister said in the statement.
Following the July 19 attack at Nampala military camp which left 17 Malian soldiers dead, six other Malian soldiers went missing.
