An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted 3 km southeast of Jaco, Costa Rica at 21:51:10 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 27.24 km, was initially determined to be at 9.5976 degrees north latitude and 84.6014 degrees west longitude.
