72 Hours Microfinance Services , A Micro Finance Service provider has unveiled a new building which will serve as its corporate head office. This will add to their existing two branches at?Haatso and Dome branch.?
Speaking during the inaugural ceremony in Accra, the Branch Manager of?72 Hours Microfinance Services, Mr. Alfred Arthur noted customer satisfaction is the company?s hallmark coupled with their products which are tailored to suit the needs of every clients as stated by their company?s mission ?to provide the best financial service in the financial industry in Ghana by using highly competitive staff to exceed customer satisfaction?
Touching on the theme of the event which is ?leveraging on human resource to gain competitive advantage in financial services?, Mr. Arthur observed, human resource is the real factor of change to sustain the financial industry but was quick to add that leveraging human capital to gain competitive advantage is a big problem for many firms today in the face of modern technology.
He said, ?Employee?s engagement is a key business for driver for organizational success adding, high levels of engagements in domestic firms promote retention of talent, foster customer loyalty and improve organizational performance and shareholders? value.
Alfred Arthur believes his able staff members including himself are endowed with traits such as good character, quality customer care services, teamwork appearance and the right ethics in place to increase shareholders value and also create avenue for expansion whilst pledging to make good use of the logistics at his disposal to maximize profit for his new Branch.
Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Hon. Justice Joe Appiah in an interview with Journalists indicated that many Microfinances in the past were pyram scheme which was used to defraud unsuspecting Ghanaians but rather commended 72 Hours Microfinance Services for its dedicated service to clients.
?In those days when pyram was in Ghana, they took away so many deposits of people and all we?ve heard was they?ve run away with them. Up till now they still owe people and they?ve not gotten money to pay their victims, so? we are very cautious and very careful in terms of doing business with these microfinance companies but 72 hours is a company that we’ve heard of from Cantonments and many other places in Accra moreover, a lot of people are testifying their good works so I don?t hesitate recommending my people in Ablekuma North especially Odorkor to also come in and do business with 72 Hours and I think their lives will change? he hinted.
Several microfinance institutions operating in the country in the past have folded up, due to scam on part of the operators resulting into damage on part of the clients who signed for the microfinance business.
This development has triggered the Bank of Ghana to increase the minimum capital requirement from GH 500,000 cedis to minimum of GH 1,000,000 cedis in addition went ahead to publish the full list of accredited and licensed microfinance institutions on their website which saw the emergence of 72 Hours microfinance on the 8th position.
To climax the launch, staffs of the company earlier during the day organized a clean-up exercise at the Odorkor market and lorry station where they cleaned choked gutters, swept and tidy the whole market before moving to the facade of the new building.
72 Hours is a microfinance institution is into the provision of financial services which includes Susu, Savings, Fixed Deposits, Investments, Salary Advance, Personal loans, and Business loans to clients and has been established in the year 2012.
