The test conducted for the pupils was base on an earlier workshop conducted in May, by NOVAN Education and Training for 46 mathematics teachers in the District to ascertain the impact of the training .
The pupils were drawn from, forms one to three of seven JHSs in the Donkorkrom Township, namely St Michael R/C JHS, Nana Badu D /A JHS, Presbyterian JHS, Evangelical Presbyterian JHS, Islamic JHS, Atakora L /A JHS and Kofi Yeboah D /A JHS.
As part of the training, 29 teachers benefited from a workshop to help upgrade their skills development and improve their professional competence through Information Technology in the teaching of mathematics.
The participants were retrained on new mathematical concepts .
Mr Samuel Bonney, a Mathematics teacher of St Michael R/C JHS said, the exercise has been helpful and has introduced him to many ways of solving questions in mathematics and his pupils are going to benefit from.
