It is common knowledge that every year especially in July, lots of students, with their parents, make choices on the progression path they will follow.
These critical choices always involve among other things, the programmes of study to pursue and the institutions to enrol in. All too often these life choices are made without adequate information, simply because the information is not available readily.
It is with this background that AB Review, operators of the ?AfricaSchoolsOnline? portal, decided to find a one-stop solution to this problem. AB Review has therefore launched a two day educational fair dubbed EDU GH Fair. The fair focuses on everything education, from books to stationery, schools, scholarship, careers and job placements.
The Executive Director of AB Review, Abel Ohene Acquaye speaking on ETV breakfast show highlighted that the expo will serve as a gateway for students and parents to gain more information on school requirements, scholarships, courses and possible careers as well as latest trends in the education space. The fair will bring together students, school leavers, expatriates, parents, teachers, university students, working adults, and the general public providing all the answers to queries on best-fit schools, courses, scholarships, educational and career possibilities in Ghana and beyond with focus on what to study, where to study, and which programs best suit their needs, he added.
Students will also be able to obtain the best advice from counsellors and interact with mentors from various professions. Representatives from respective academic institutions will interact with prospective students, accept documents and offer on the spot admissions to qualified students. This is a ?ONE-STOP EDUCATION FAIR? designed to inform, educate and inspire students.
AB Review is part of the 2015 cohort of the ServLed Accelerator program. ServLed is the entrepreneurial marketplace where entrepreneurs with great ideas are matched with accomplished mentors and angel investors to build sustainable world class businesses.
Heads of Schools, parents, students from junior high to the tertiary level and the general public are invited to the fair which will be held on July 31 and August 1, 2015 at the British Council, Accra.
