Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has highlighted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ‘s significant achievements in the Central Region, including advancements in road infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
During the second phase of the NDC’s tour of the Central Region, Ablakwa urged constituents to support John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 presidential elections and vote for NDC parliamentary candidates.
He emphasized that such support is crucial to avoid a hung parliament and enable Mahama to implement his policies effectively.
“We are confident that, by the grace of God, former President John Dramani Mahama will win the December elections and continue the progress he initiated between 2016 and January 6, 2017,” Ablakwa said.
“To achieve this, he will need a solid majority in Parliament.”
Ablakwa stressed the importance of securing a comfortable majority, stating, “We don’t want any hung parliament. We want a workable, comfortable majority in Parliament to ensure that the good work continues seamlessly.”
