Scores of electorate at the Opoku Ware Polling Station in the Ablekuma West Constituency preceded the voting process with a prayer for the peace of the nation not to be breached in the election era.

The first batch of electorate arrived at about 0300 hours to begin the queue for the voting, which opened at 0700 hours .

They, therefore, used the waiting period for intercessory prayers for the nation’s wellbeing.

At King Josiah Polling Station A and B in the Ablekuma North Constituency, the first voter told the GNA that he arrived at the station 0130 hours.

At the Harrow International School in Okaikoi Central, the materials for the elections arrived at 0611 hours.

Voting, therefore, began at exactly 0700 hours.
