National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, accused appointees of the ruling government of stashing enough money to influence voters on December 7.
Therefore, he urges the voters to accept what he claims to be stacks of cash hidden in their rooms and still vote against the NPP in the December polls. As Mr. Asiedu Nketia is nicknamed, General Mosquito castigates President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government officials for failing to prioritize Ghana’s physical and economic development.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia said this at Adambrombe in the Akuapem South constituency of the Eastern region to begin a nationwide campaign for the NDC and its flagbearer, John Mahama.
Addressing the crowd he encouraged the youth to emulate the precedent set by the people of Assin North during the recent by-election, where voters accepted goodies and money from the NPP but still rejected them.
