Access Bank has taken another judicious step by unveiling its new brand identity.

The unveil, is in line with the bank’s strategy to become Africa’s gateway to the world, follows a recent approval received from the Bank of Ghana to commence their rebranding exercise.

The new visual identity , includes new logo , unique brand colours and refined brand promise , follows the successful merger between our parent company Access Bank Plc and erstwhile Diamond Bank in Nigeria.

This the new brand seek to offer their customers and other stakeholders more than their usual expectations. As well as its ambition to be one of the largest retail banks in Ghana.

Speaking at the launching ceremony in Accra, the Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana, Mr. Olumide Olatunji, said in order to achieve their vision of becoming the world’s most respected African Bank, there is the need for them to do more as a bank.

Mr. Olumide Olatunji explained: “With this new identity, we shall be opening more doors that will offer families the opportunity to realise their dreams, providing Ghanaian businesses with access to intra Africa trade and global markets and giving budding entrepreneurs the tools to build a business.

Beyond the change in our visual identity, our new promise of more than banking, will enable us to provide more services that enrich the lives of customers, more support and opportunities for our employees, more ideas to innovate our industry and creating more prosperity for Ghana,”.

This he said, all Access Banks locations and offices in Ghana will be transformed to reflect the new identity.

“These are exciting times for us and thousands of customers across the country. Access Bank has grown over time and built an enviable brand in the wholesale banking segment but increasingly we have always wanted to strengthen our retail franchise to enable us diversify and serve the whole value chain, right down to the ordinary woman in the village.

Customers of Access Bank can expect exciting times ahead with enhanced and more efficient digital platforms for their banking needs; more unique and innovative products and more rewarding benefits from banking relationships,’ he assured.

Coincidentally, this year also marks 10years of Access Bank Ghana’s existence. For a decade now and counting, we have proudly been unrivalled products and services to the Ghanaian populace and we will continue to do more with our renewed direction for the future.

The new Access Bank is the largest retail in Africa with over 29 million customers and over 27,000 staff in 12 countries across across three continents and one of the largest retail banks in Ghana with a network of 51 branches.
