Known as the ?Change Your Level? promo, the winners stand the chance to win a 3 bedroom house, a new Hyundai Accent Car and an all-expense paid vacation to Dubai for a family of four.
To participate, new and existing customers must deposit at least GHS 200 in their account and reserve a balance of GHS 500 to qualify for any of the two draws which will be held in October and November, 2015.
The winner of the 1st mini-draw will get the chance to spend holidays in Dubai for a family of four and will be given spending money during this trip. A brand new Hyundai Accent will be given to the winner of the 2nd mini-draw. The Ultimate prize of a 3 bedroom house fitted with complete kitchen, air-conditions and automated gate will be given to the overall winner in the grand draw.
A total of 100 customers will be rewarded at the end of the ongoing promotion which will end in January 2016. Participants will also get to win LED TV?s, smart phones, tablets, rechargeable lamps and fans.
Managing Director of Access Bank, Mr. Dolapo Ogundimu who presented a speech at the launch disclosed that the aim of the programme is to whip up a savings culture in the Ghanaian society.
He underscored the importance of saving money towards bad times and stated that in order to unlock a successful financial future individuals must learn how to save regularly.
He disclosed that this will also enable banks to raise enough money to lend to various business sectors to support the economy.
?We are confronted with a low savings culture and this is gravely affecting the level of surplus money that Banks can mobilize to lend to support the deficits segments of the economy. We believe that the industry can develop the needed savings culture if the right conditions are in place?, he said.
On his part, Head for Personal Banking, Mr. Stephen Abban explained that the bank provides very easy and flexible saving options for every individual.
He added that, ?the bank believes in rewarding loyal customers for their continuous patronage whiles attracting segments of the market outside the banking industry?.
