The Member of Parliament for Adentan Municipal Assembly, Hon Emmanuel Nii Ashie-Moore, has donated several items to the people of Okai-koi Central.

IMG_1318The items which include: rice, sugar, milk, Milo etc were presented to the chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Musah, and some executive members on behalf of the constituency.

Speaking to a section of the media after the donation, Hon. Ashie Moore stated that his decision to donate those items is precipitated out of his commitment to ensuring a deeper confidence in his tenure of office and hope for her constituency members.

He added that in the past, some orphanage homes in the constituency, including the Okaikoi Constituency, have quetched about having been left in the lurch ? so he finds it crucial to support them, though he?s not an MP for the Constituency.

According to him, since the Okai-Okoi seat is in the vicinity of the Chief Imam , he sees the constituency as a small Mecca, so party members need to be encouraged and motivated in that Constituency in order for them to work hard for the party to win the upcoming 2016 elections.

Hon. Ashie Moore further advised that every Member of Parliament MP or ministers try and adopt any of the orphanages in the Constituency and pay courtesy calls on them in solidarity.

In a separate chat with the Chairman of the Constituency, Mr. Ibrahim Musah , he told Mustapha Inusah that just when the members of the National Democratic Congress in Okai -Okoi heard the news of Hon. Ashie Moore?s visit to the constituency, they were happy.

“When we sent the news to all our members, they were very happy that you were coming, but since you are just meeting the executives for now, we will plead that we schedule another time and meet the members who are so eager to meet you” he said.

He posited, ?for years no MP have thought about them , so for the Hon member of Adenta to do that, next time when they will be meeting, we will arrange with the Chief Imam , so the Chief Imam can pray for him anytime he visits them again.? Mr. Ibrahim used the opportunity to thank them.
