The Adonai Estate Limited (AEL), a conglomerate comprising Golf City View Restaurant, Adonai College, Adonai Fellowship Of All Believers (AFOAB), and Adonai Travel and Tour have donated items worth sums of money to the residents of Hodzo Anyiboboe community in the Ho Municipality (HMA) of the Volta Region.
The items include 9 cartons of cooking oil, 4 cartons of mackerel, 4 cartons of tin tomatoes, 4 bags of 50kg rice, soaps, 100 bags of sachet water, clothes, and footwear amongst others.
Rev Dr Bright Adonai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adonai Estate Limited in a short remark said that the gesture forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to give back to the community it operates from.
He explained that the community plays host to where the company was having its Airport Golf City project and therefore, deemed it fit to extend its support to the community after considering the community’s challenges.
He indicated that his outfit identified some of the challenges in the community such as lack of access to potable water, educational infrastructure and poor standards of living and therefore decided to come to their aid with foodstuff and some relief items.
He also pledged the continuous support of the company to the community.
He announced its readiness to put up a community information center and award scholarships to some brilliant but needy students at the Senior High level among other things when need be.
Rev Dr Adonai further announced that the other surrounding communities would also have their share of the cake in the course of time as the project progresses.
Togbe Peter Kusalo, Chief of Hodzo Anyiboboe who received the items on behalf of the community thanked the Chief Executive Officer and staff of the company for the kind gesture.
He gave the assurance that the items would be shared equally among the community members so as to serve its purpose and wished the company well in its operations.
Prophet Joseph Tsetse, Headpastor of the Adonai Fellowship Of All Believers, a non-denominational Christian gathering on his part, invited the public to its meetings held on Sundays at the Airport Golf City.
He announced that on the last Fridays of every month they embark on what he termed as “Adonai Garden of Getsemani” where they climb the Kokovena Mountain to have an encounter with God, and meet to call on the name of God and invited all Christians and non-Christians to join.
The staff of the Adonai Estate Limited after handing over the items also prayed for the members of the community and pronounced the blessings of God upon them.
