Nigerian musicians Tiwa Savage, Darey and Banky W, will join forces with the likes of Ghana’s Efya, , South Africa’s Lira and Leanne, Maurice Kirya from Uganda to record a tribute for late Whitney Houston who passed away on Saturday, 11 February.
The queen of pop was found dead in her hotel room in Beverly Hills the night before the 54th Grammy Awards.
The tribute will be aired on Channel O. Join Africa in honouring this musical talent by watching Africa Remembers Whitney on Channel O DStv Channel 320 on Sunday 19 February at 09:00, 17:00 and 22:00 CAT.
The segment, which will be aired on the channel throughout the weekend, includes a heartfelt biographical account of Whitney’s life in music, recorded with Channel O VJ, Joey from Kenya.
