Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sent a message inviting Ghana?s President John Atta Mills to the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement Summit to be held in Tehran on August 26-31, 2012, Iran?s state news agency IRNA has reported.

Ahmadinejad?s message to President Mills was delivered by the Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Mohammad Abbasi in Accra.

Mr Abbasi is to submit a message from President Ahmadinejad to his Ghanaian counterpart President Atta Mills, inviting him to attend the 16th NAM Summit meeting to be held in Tehran on August 26-31, the news agency said July 9, 2012.

The Iranian minister is said to proceed to Togo, Burkina Faso and Benin to submit similar invitations to heads of state of the three African countries.
