Air Tanzania said Tuesday that it will commence flights between Dar es Salaam and Harare on Friday.
With the move, the airline will join a growing list of African airlines that are flying into the southern Africa country that is seeking to attract more international airlines and passengers.
The state-owned airline said it will fly to Harare three times a week.
The airline will launch its flights just a month after Proflight Zambia suspended its service between Lusaka and Harare due to challenges with repatriating its funds from the country which is currently facing foreign currency shortages.
Proflight Zambia said it will resume its service on March 1. Enditem
