Officials at the Soccer Clinic launch in Ghana

Telecommunication giants Airtel have in partnership with Arsenal Football Club launched its Soccer Clinic for U-17 boys and girls in Ghana.
The Soccer Clinic which will be running until Sunday forms part of the Rising Stars program aimed at unearthing soccer talents in Africa.
The clinic will see soccer coaches from Arsenal taking the young boys and girls through basic rudiments of the game aimed at improving their technique at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra.
The launch also provided the victorious Ghana U-17 women?s team to present the trophy won at the first Airtel inter-country competition in Kenya to dignitaries present.

The Deputy Minister of Sports who was present at the occasion as a special guest urged more corporate partnership in the development of sports in particular football in the country.
?I would like to thank Airtel for this wonderful initiative to give this opportunity to the young boys and girls,? he said.
?I will also like to urge other corporate bodies to invest in sports for it is one major way we can improve our teams at the major competitions.?
