Let me use this opportunity to welcome Nana Akufo-Addo, the occupant of the great ancient elephant stool of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the corner of destruction, from his just ended “Rise and Build” tour. Nana you have my salute.

In the wake of deepening democracy, NPP has given birth to a demagogue (Nana Akufo-Addo) who’s quackery and deep rooted hatred for his fellow party folks is unheard off. He has finally succeeded in initiating dictatorship and antagonism in the party and now controls the party at the whims and caprices of himself.

To his left is Chairman Paul Afoko, General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong, Charles Wirekko- Brobey, Alan Kyerematen, J. A. Kufuor and others on his list of dislike. To his right is Freddie Blay (NPP C.I.A and Akufo-Addo’s special spy), John Boadu, Peter Mac Manu, O.B. Amoah, Martin Agyei Korsah, Hajia Fati and others. Behind him is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who is allegedly suffering from sleep disorder due to the heat he is receiving from Akufo-Addo’s missiles. In his front is the capacious river Prah that has seen to the slain of Asantihene Otumfuor Osei Tutu I by the Akyem’s that now generates so much pride for Akufo-Addo (Akyem strongman) to treat Asantihene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II with so much Akyem repulsiveness in broad day light.

By their fruit, ye shall know them.

Akufo-Addo has slam the door on the franchise right of NPP delegates whose votes and will Paul Afoko represent. He hid behind Freddie Blay and unconstitutional National Executive Committee (NEC) resolution to kick out Paul Afoko in an unprecedented coup d’ tat kind of thing. An intolerable offense to the amateur democracy we are nurturing. Now I ask, where is the so called “Let My Vote Count Alliance” of the NPP? Have they become dump and timid all of a sudden? They were championing Akufo-Addo’s prejudice stunt by mounting undue pressure on the Electoral Commission that the current voter’s register is bloated and not credible therefore the need for a new one after all the failed pandemonium for the court to rule the 2012 election petition case in favor of Grandpa Akufo-Addo.

Paul Afoko’s indefinite suspension as NPP Chairman is the true case of let my vote count because the sovereign power spring from the people and such powers can only be exercised legitimately through the ballot box and NPP delegates did just that at their last Tamale congress. For Akufo-Addo to look down upon such collective decision of the NPP delegates is tantamount to Amedy Coulibaly.

It is surprising that certain prominent people in the NPP and the “Let My Vote Count Alliance” are quiet. Has Akufo-Addo succeeded in making them his stooges too? Or is it that everyone is afraid of the Akyem strongman. HAHAHAHAHA……now I laugh in capital letters. The ridicule of the NPP is indeed laughable.

Not only did Akufo-Addo disrespected the collective will of the NPP delegates but also torn the party constitution and trample upon it. And the people look on in amazement with arms akimbo. Hahahaha…the aliens laugh at the NPP in such a robotic haste.

It is outrageous and offensive to Ghana, Rule of Law and democracy that this evil and outlaw gimmick will receive global media saturation and Akufo-Addo come 2016 will be at the forefront on the world stage to pervade his invective like a global flu – Ebola.

Pragmatically, every respecter of democracy will have the moral justification to condemn Akufo-Addo’s unconstitutional removal of Paul Afoko as party Chairman.

In democratic dispensation, there is respect for rule of law and varied views are highly tolerated, we the people of Ghana wish to see our democracy in every corner in the country.

Former President J.A. Kufuor in his own wisdom unequivocally warned the NPP delegates about Akufo-Addo in 2007: “even as we search for a successor, we must look for somebody who will continue to HOLD THE PARTY TOGETHER. We mustn’t go in for anybody that would DIVIDE us. So, anybody who is always FULL OF TENSION and FIGHTING and that sort of thing, we have to be careful about. The PARTY MUST STAY TOGETHER”.

In the face of all this warning, NPP delegates went ahead and elected Akufo-Addo as their flag bearer in 2008 and again in 2012 in which many thought that Akufo-Addo is proceeding in retardation both mentally and physically at the time. J.A Kufuor again warned the party in 2012 by saying that Ghanaian women vote for handsome men.

It seems that the NPP delegates are not reading Kufuor’s words carefully as they again elected the same twice loser Akufo-Addo to lead them to their third defeat. And the result and appreciation they get is for their losing candidate to tone the path of undemocratic in removing the mouth piece of the delegates Paul Afoko, ever widening what many have said that NPP is Akan party.

Is this what Akufo-Addo is telling Ghanaians to rise and build? Arise and build autocracy? Arise and build tyranny and authoritative measures? Arise and build dictatorship and antagonism? Arise and build Kangaroo and undemocratic principles?

If there is anything to build, then, that would be impeachment of Akufo-Addo.

The kinds of Akufo-Addo are the least we expected in our democracy. If he can turn his party folks against one another and disregard the party constitution which clearly spells out the proper ways of expelling a member, what would he not do to Ghanaians?  NPP delegates have made a wrong choice for the party but we Ghanaians would not make such error. We truly understand J.A. Kufuor’s warnings and we clinch to it just as how we did it in 2008 and 2012 general election. The same way we are going to do it to retain the bush animal in the bush. John Mahama all the way. John Mahama merits our votes and we will give it to him k3k3.
