Former Hearts of Oak International Relation Officer Al Wahab has blamed the current fortunes of the club at the door steps of the Board chairman Togbe Afede.
According to Al Wahab the club’s ongoing predicaments is due to the improper managerial system ran by the clubs; Board Chairman.
Since the traditional ruler took charge after the club’s floatation of shares in 2011, the club has become a laughing stock which have seen top personalities like Ashford Tetteh Oku andFred Crienstil all resigning from their respective positions.
Following the resignation of former Managing Director of the club Gerald Ankrah, Al Wahab has taken a strong swipe at Togbe Afede’s administration insisting that the current predicaments facing the club are because of the improper managerial style of the current leader of the club.
“If the management is good enough nobody will be asking for transformation. The team is not run by a coach but by the administration. So the management of the club must in good shape to see the club moving forward,” Al Wahab told Uniiq FM.
“The truth of the matter is that we have a very rough and wrong managerial structure and that is what is killing the club.”
The troubled African champions have struggled with managerial crisis for the past five years compelling them to chase their shadows in the Ghana Premier League without a major trophy over the period.
