Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserting that it lacks the moral authority to continue governing Ghana.

In an interview with KSS Studios, Kyerematen argued that the NPP should be held accountable for the country’s current state and suggested that it is time for a change in leadership.

“The NPP should not have the moral authority to claim they want to continue governing,” Kyerematen stated.

“They want to come and continue and do what?” he questioned, pointing to the country’s challenges due to the party’s tenure.

Kyerematen, who left the NPP after losing in the party’s primaries in the first round in 2023, emphasized his belief in the necessity of new leadership.

“Every nation that is great in this world has been great because of great leaders, not great parties,” he said, underscoring his view that solid leadership is vital to national progress.

He positioned himself as the leader capable of pulling the country out of its current difficulties, advocating for his candidacy as a necessary change for Ghana’s future.
