Alan Kyerematen, the Movement for Change leader, has dismissed recent reports suggesting that Abu Sakara has departed from his camp.
The rumours indicated that Abu Sakara, who had previously allied with Kyerematen, was dissatisfied with choosing a running mate and decided to leave.
In an interview with Accra-based Joy News, Kyerematen refuted these claims, asserting that Sakara remains a vital member of the movement.
“The propaganda you’ve seen in the newspapers that Abu Sakara has made a statement is false. It is not even in his nature. We are together,” Kyerematen stated.
He elaborated that the movement had resolved to select a youthful individual as their running mate for the 2024 elections and emphasized that Sakara, along with other allies, would play significant roles both in the campaign and, if successful, in the country’s governance.
