Nana Ohene Ntow, advisor to independent presidential aspirant Alan Kyerematen, dismissed claims that former Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama represents the change Ghanaians seek in the upcoming elections, asserting that Alan Kyerematen is the candidate to trust for genuine transformation.

Speaking on TV3’s Key Points on Saturday, July 27, Ntow responded to remarks by Professor Titus Beyuo, Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Lambussie, who expressed a public desire for change under Mahama’s leadership.

Beyuo had stated during the NDC’s 2024 campaign launch in Tamale that Ghanaians were looking to Mahama to steer the country towards prosperity.

Meanwhile, under Mahama’s leadership, the NDC unveiled its campaign strategy promising a 24-hour economy, abolishing ex-gratia, and initiatives like exporting nurses to tackle healthcare unemployment.

Key figures at the event included Mahama, running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and members of the Council of Elders.

Tamale Central lawmaker Murtala Mohammed emphasized the importance of regional campaign rotation, underscoring the NDC’s commitment to nationwide engagement.
