Albert Frimpong dedicates GOC victory to Baseball in Ghana

President of the Ghana Softball and Baseball Association, Albert Frimpong has thanked all delegates who participated in the Congress of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) and especially those who voted for him.

Frimpong who polled 38 votes to join Leanier Addy – 55, Mawuko Afadzinu – 36, Herbert Mensah – 34 and Isaac Duah with 33 votes said the elections were very interesting and he has learnt many things, especially to be humble and not follow money.

He also appreciated team work, networking and volunteerism which is Ben Nunoo Mensah’s strategy.

He said the victory of Ben Nunoo Mensah is like God speaking to His people. “I foresee a bright future with personalities like Herbert Mensah and other experience guys in the Committee.

“I want to dedicate my election to the game of Baseball as it is now an Olympic sport just like Karate do and Rugby whose presidents were elected into the new board’ he said.
