Hearts Coach

Alexander Nouri, the Iranian-German coach, has been shortlisted to take charge of Iran’s top-flight Esteghlal soccer club, Persian Football website reported on Thursday.

Esteghlal parted company with Farhad Majidi at the end of Iran’s super league season and reportedly has not reached an agreement with Italian coach Andrea Stramaccioni.

Nouri has been without a team since parting company with Hertha BSC in April.

Esteghlal is currently headed by interim coach Majid Namjoo Motlagh at the ongoing ACL competitions.
