Ghanaian defender Karim Alhassan has revealed his relief to have joined Turkish second tier club Adana Demirspor.

The 21-year-old completed a two-year move as a free agent on Friday following the termination of his contract with Zamalek where he endured a torrid time.

Alhassan?who joined the Egyptian giants from Hearts of Oak where he was the captain was completely frozen out from the first team by then coach Hassan Shehata.

He thus couldn?t hide his joy after signing for the Turkish club which he hopes marks a fruitful turn in his career.

?I am very relieved to have come out (of Zamalek),? he said.

?This?my career nearly ended, this is an experience I want to easily forget.

?Hopefully, I am back to normal and will be able to concentrate and play my football in order to get to the top again.?
