Alisa Hotels Unveils New Pavilion

Alisa Hotels has further solidified its standing in Ghana’s hospitality industry by unveiling a 1,000-seater pavilion at its North Ridge branch.

Yusuf Olela, the Group General Manager of Alisa Hotels, emphasized the importance of continued investment in the hospitality sector to foster growth and attract more investors.

Olela highlighted the Alisa Hotels group’s established reputation as a premier business address at its North Ridge and Tema locations.

He also underscored the positive effects of national tourism campaigns, such as the Year of Return and Beyond the Return, which have significantly boosted tourist arrivals and, consequently, the hospitality sector.

During the unveiling ceremony on August 8, 2024, Olela noted the need for special consolidated funds to encourage investment in the hospitality industry.

He also called for enhanced infrastructure development to attract tourists and improve destination appeal.

Despite progress, Olela acknowledged the industry’s ongoing challenges, including high utility costs, power fluctuations, and inflation, which adversely impact hotel operations.

The new pavilion, inaugurated by Group Chairman Kwame Bamfo and Olela, features a partitionable conference centre equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities accommodating up to 1,000 delegates.

It also includes two executive boardrooms for high-profile meetings and the Oasis Lounge, which offers indoor and outdoor dining options with a diverse menu and beverage selection.

A new pavilion with a 400-seat capacity is soon opening at the Alisa Hotel in Tema.

Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister Andrews Egyapa Mercer commended Alisa Hotels for its significant contributions over the past 25 years.

He assured the ministry is committed to supporting the sector to enhance its growth and development.
