Basic schools in the Amansie West and South Districts have received 2,800 copies of ICT and creative arts books worth GH¢42, 000.00.

The Excellent Publication and Stationery Limited based in Kumasi, donated the books.

Mr Owusu Mensah, the Company’s representative, who made the presentation on behalf of Mr Francis Benjamin Appiah, the General Manger said the gift was the company’s contribution to boost teaching and learning in the two areas of study.

He said the gesture followed an earlier visit to some schools which revealed the situation.

“My Company then decided to assist with the provision of those books”, he added.

Mr Mensah appealed to the school authorities to make maximum use of the books to benefit the pupils.

Mr William Asante Bediako, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South on behalf of the schools, thanked the management of the company for the kindness and said it had come at an opportune time.
