American rapper and music producer Justin Riley, known professionally as BeatKing, died at 39.
His manager, Tasha Felder, confirmed his passing on Instagram on August 15, 2024. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Felder’s statement highlighted BeatKing’s impact on the music industry, noting his significant role in the club scene over the past decade. She said, “Today, August 15, 2024, we have lost BeatKing.
He has produced and worked with so many artists that his sound will forever live. He loved his music, his daughters, and his fans. We will love him forever.”
BeatKing was a prominent figure in Southern hip-hop, renowned for his energetic music and collaborations with notable artists such as Ludacris, 2 Chainz, and Juicy J. He is survived by his two daughters and his partner, Talameshia.
