Accra Hearts of Oak whipped Amidaus Professionals 3-0 in the 20th week game of the First Capital Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts who have been struggling to keep their form in the premiership with head coach Mohamed ?Polo? Ahmed under intense pressure to quit were held to a pulsating draw in the first half with each side creating some decent chances.

Hearts resumed some level of dominance over the visitors scoring the first goal in the 49th minute when Eric Kumi standing at an acute angle in the 18 yard box fired the ball into the roof of net with the visitors? goalkeeper Ofori Antwi clueless.

Selasie Adjei made it two for Hearts in the 56th minute after missing a golden opportunity three minutes earlier by squeezing in header from Owusu Bempa?s cross.

Adjei was on hand to increase the tally in the 68th minute but was fouled by Antwi for referee to whistle for a penalty which was converted by Robin Gnagne in the 67th minute.

Hearts have thus maintained their position on the second spot of the league log with 34 points and one outstanding game against Medeama FC. GNA
