Andre Ayew suffered a head injury on Friday night

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew suffered a head injury while in action for Olympique Marseille in their shocking 1-0 defeat to Nice on Friday night.
The 24-year-old had to be taken off before halftime due to excessive bleeding from his scalp after a head collision with a Nice player.
Ayew started the game for Les Phoceens having returned from national team duty where he remained an unused substitute for the Black Stars in the 1-0 international friendly loss to Montenegro on Wednesday night.
The youngster received treatment after the collision only to return with a heavily strapped head.
Ayew however could no longer continue the game and was replaced in the 44th minute by Saber Khelifa.
The Ghana midfielder is however expected to be fit for Marseille?s next game at Reims next weekend.
