Andy tells In Touch that he gets calls and texts in the middle of the night from distraught Housewives and says “Sometimes I feel like I’m a therapist as well as a producer!”
For the 48-year-old former CBS News producer, conflict resolution is part of his job description. “It can be very uncomfortable,” admits Andy of mediating the infighting that goes on between Housewives cast members. “It’s all real.”
“I think the important thing that I try to do is let everybody be heard,” Andy says of navigating the emotional minefield of reality TV on Bravo.
As far as a favorite franchise, Andy tells In Touch that he’s “always had a soft spot for New York, because it’s funny in a very twisted way.
“I can’t get over that they all sleep with the same guys,” he says.
