Angola and France leaders discuss economic impact of COVID-19


Angolan President Joao Lourenco and French President Emmanuel Macron held a telephone conversation on Monday, talking about current issues, especially the impact of COVID-19 on the world economy and in that Southern African country, says a note from the president press office.

Joao Lourenco provided a full report on what is being done by the Angolan government so far, says the note.

The Angolan head of state highlighted the investment of resources made for the acquisition of biosafety means and equipment to face the virus and business response so that the economy continues to function.

The two heads of state also discussed regional issues.
