Angola’s Finance minister, Vera Daves, on Friday said the technological solutions provided by the traditional banking have not been able to promote the desirable financial inclusion in the country.

The country’s indicator is very low if compared with other member countries of the Southern African Development Community, taking into consideration that only roughly 30 percent of adult population use banking services the same average for financial inclusion.

There are no financial services and other solutions in the Angolan market than of those provided by the traditional banking provided, the minister said.

The minister disclosed the information at the opening of the 9th edition of the Forum on the Challenges of Governance of Digital Age in Africa being attended by national and foreign experts, diplomats and representatives of the financial sector. Enditem
