Angola will build 1,132 new fueling stations nationwide by 2022, director general of the Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute, Albino Ferreira, said on Friday.
The official made the statement to the press on the sidelines of a seminar to introduce the national mapping of fueling stations and its related legislation.
In 2018, when the mapping on the number of the fueling stations in the country was last completed, Angola had a total of 1,107 fueling stations, Ferreira said.
He said 33 out of the country’s total 164 municipalities do not have fueling stations, while Luanda province has 36 percent of the country’s total number of fueling stations. Enditem
