Quadripartite Summit | Luanda, 12 July 2019

Heads of state of Angola, DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda will come together in the Angolan capital on Feb. 2 to discuss issues related to regional security and cooperation, a statement from the Angolan presidency on Friday said.

In the July 2019 quadripartite summit’s final communique, the heads of state stressed the importance of a permanent, frank and open dialogue that should be strengthened both bilaterally between the states of the region and multilaterally, for the consolidation of peace and security as a fundamental premise for economic integration.

The presidents also came together in the Angolan capital on Aug. 21, 2019 to witness the peace understanding reached between Uganda and Rwanda. Enditem
