Angolan President Joao Lourenco left here Wednesday morning for Zambia, where he is paying a working visit, said a press release from the President’s Civil Office.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two states, said the release.
During the visit, Angola and Zambia are expected to hold bilateral talks and sign agreements on tourism and the abolition of visas in ordinary, diplomatic and service passports.
Zambia buys from Angola products like fish, salt, cement, fuel and lubricants, while the neighbouring country sells to Angola some agricultural goods including maize.
Angola and Zambia share a border of about 1,000 kilometres. Enditem
