Norwegian top-tier side Stabaek have gone into talks over handing long-term contract to Ghanaian international midfielder Anthony Annan, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The 29-year-old joined Stabaek for the last 9 games of the league season and started 7 helping Stabaek to secure a spot for next season’s Uefa Europa League after finishing third.
Stabaek’s technical team was overly impressed with the performance of the former Schalke 04 midfielder and are keen to tie him down to a long term contract before the player departs to Ghana for holidays.
American trainer Bob Bradley, who has left the club to join French Ligue 2 side Le Havre, has advised Stabaek to secure him for his experience for next season.
Annan j0ined Stabaek after leaving German side 1860 Munich where he failed to secure regular playing time.
