The Armed Forces Senior High Technical School is the winner of the 2019 National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Constitution Quiz for secondary schools in the La Dadekotopon Municipality.

The School distinguished itself by winning all the three rounds of the competition and leading its closest contender, Labone Senior High School, which bagged 66 points, with a 23 point difference.

Saint Thomas Aquinas and La Presbyterian Senior High came third and fourth with 51 and 48 points respectively.

The overall winner received a laptop, some stationery and a trophy. The First runner up also got a smart tablet, pens and pencils and a trophy.

The competition was divided into three parts- the first section focused on the 1992 Constitution, the second on Local Government and the third section combining General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

It was organised by the LaDMA Directorate of NCCE with support from the Municipal Assembly and the Member of Parliament for the area.

It was aimed at highlighting the relevance of the 1992 Constitution to citizens and to inculcate in the youth their civic responsibilities.

Mrs Gloria Amarkai Kudo, the NCCE Municipal Director, expressed her satisfaction over the level of competitiveness of this year’s competition.
