Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is on the verge of a permanent move to London rivals Crystal Palace.

The deal is reported to be worth £25 million with an additional £5 million in add-ons.

Nketiah has struggled to secure a regular starting position at Arsenal, making only 10 Premier League starts of 27 appearances last season.

He scored five goals and provided two assists during that period. Despite interest from Nottingham Forest and Ligue 1 club Marseille, both attempts to secure Nketiah’s services were unsuccessful.

With Nketiah’s contract at Arsenal running until 2027, Arsenal is expected to accept Palace’s offer.

The striker has been an unused substitute in Arsenal’s opening two Premier League matches of the season.

For Crystal Palace, Nketiah’s arrival would offer a much-needed boost after a challenging start to the season, which saw them lose their first two league games against Brentford and West Ham.

Palace has also seen several key players depart, including Michael Olise, Joachim Andersen, and Jordan Ayew.

Nketiah, who debuted for Arsenal in the 2017-18 season, is keen to embrace a new challenge and assume a more prominent role at Palace.
