He said, he is disappointed in the current turns of events in the party.
Dr Arthur Kobina Kennedy who was speaking with Ghana Dadwen Host Bright Kwesi Asempa on Onua 95.1fm from his base from the state said the NPP is now replete with sycophants whose business is to praise the flag bearer daily whiles things are deteriorating In the party
“The reason for division in the party is the people who are saying yes sir yes sir, Nana oo Nana, that is our problem” I am disappointed in everone in the party, and I can tell you the only person who can unite the party is the flag bearer” Dr Arthur Kennedy posited.
He said the party is now canvassing for vote to govern the nation and if the party is not able to put its house in order, what will happen if we are given the mandate. I can remember that press conference addressed by Nana Addo, he would have walked into that press conference with both Chairman Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong the then General Secretary of the party. That would have sent a clear and uniting signal to the teeming members of the NPP. But Nana Addo wasted that opportunity and went ahead to address that press briefing without them, Dr Arthur Kennedy said.
“I have always maintained that I would have been disappointed in Ex- President Kufour, and other past flag bearers of the NPP if they were the flag bearer of the party under whose watch the current situation prevailing” he told Ghana Dadwen host Bright Asempa.
Dr Arthur Keneddy also was skeptical about the chances of the NPP saying it will be difficult for the Party to win November 7 general elections.
