The Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, Mr Jeff Tetteh-Kavianu, has presented 15 desktop computers with accessories worth Gh35,000, to the Asesewa Senior High School, to improve the study of Information Technology (IT) in the

The MP who made the presentation at a durbar at Asesewa, also presented a Royal motor bike at a cost of Gh 2,500 to the Dademantsemei Union to help facilitate their activities in the area.
The Dademanstemei Union, is made up of chiefs and leaders of the over 192 communities within the area, and help mobilize support for development in their respective communities.
Addressing the durbar, Mr. Tetteh- Kavianu, re-iterated government?s commitment to the people, through the provision of infrastructure, and improvement of other logistics, to ensure improved and transformed livelihood of the people.
He indicated that plans were underway to construct a canteen and kitchen at the cost of Gh 160,000 for the Asesewa Government Hospital, to ensure safe and hygienic catering services to patients on admission and their relatives.
Mr Tetteh-Kavianu also disclosed that the acquisition of a 15, 000-Ghana Cedi ultra sound machine for the maternity block was also in the pipeline, to further strengthen antenatal care, as well as reduce the incidence of maternal mortality and child deaths.
The MP called for unity, and urged the constituents to get actively involved in all activities that sought to promote development in the area, and hoped that the purpose of the presentations would be realized.
Mr Tetteh-Angmor, the District Chief Executive (DCE) said, in spite of challenges in the district, government had provided massive infrastructure in the areas of Education and Health, and urged the people to do away with apathy and support government policies and programmes.
