Unidentified men reportedly attacked the yet-to-be-identified man, whose lifeless body was then left in a nearby bush to decompose after the violent attack by some unknown machete-wielding men.
The deceased was believed to be in his early 30s and his body has since been sent to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra for onward post-mortem.
The deceased was said to be a casual worker at the Tema Port, who resided in a wooden kiosk structure located a few metres from the Presbyterian Basic School fence wall, where he was found dead.
Eyewitnesses say they saw some men fighting and did not take it seriously. But when they saw blood on the stomach of one of the victims, they realised that he had been stabbed.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel T. Yankah, the Crime Officer of the Ashaiman District Police Headquarters, confirmed the grisly murder to DAILY GUIDE, and stated that police are yet to identify the perpetrators of the criminal act.
According to him, the police have registered a case against some unidentified people and are investigating the incident.
