Amidst all the frenzy associated with the expected election results and polls analysis, ex-governor of Lagos State and the National leader of All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu made another statement in the political terrain as he gathered friends, political stalwarts and stakeholders to mark both his 7th?Annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium and 63rd birthday with the theme, ?Change: How It Will Work?, at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Personalities from all spheres of life pledged their support by attending the lecture. The two-in-one event did not end at Eko Hotel as a few APC members converged in his Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi abode three days after for a prayer session organized by an Islamic cleric.

During the 7th colloquium, a book was presented with the title, Common Sense Revolution, which was unveiled by the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other top personalities from the party.

The outgoing governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, who was the Director-General of? the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation, was at the colloquium, smartly dressed in his native attire and a red cap. He was however not at the after party.

Kemi Nelson and Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora were actively involved
Former commissioner, Kemi Nelson and Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora do not need much introduction as far as APC affairs are concerned. The two have represented the party both at the state and at the federal level. They were also at the forefront of the just concluded presidential election campaign. To show that they were fully in support of their godfather, Kemi who is the Lagos APC woman leader and Mamora, an ex-lawmaker, were present at the colloquium.

Not so many people know about the bond that exists between Prof. Osinbajo and Gov. Fashola. Throughout the event, the duo were together laughing and chatting without minding who was around or within ear shot.

The current serving and ex-governor of Osun and Ekiti States respectively, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Kayode Fayemi were also present at the book presentation. The duo were adorned in Agbada attire.

Adeyemi Ikuforiji back to the basis
Shortly after the governorship primaries ended, the Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker and a former contender for the Alausa round house, Adeyemi Ikuforiji had been on AWOL from both the social and political scene, including all APC rallies until last week when he resurfaced at the book presentation.

One would have expected the two APC stalwarts to be at the forefront of the book launch and taking charge of events but they were nowhere to be found before, during and after the event. However, some claim they were saddled with party projects necessitating their absence.

Many people would have expected him to be busy taking calls and text messages concerning the on-going general elections. But his reaction and comportment showed that there was no cause for alarm. He was full of life as he kept staring at his beautiful wife, Senator Remi, every second.

The event that was supposed to start by 1pm did not start until 3pm. The hefty bouncers at the venue of the party, did a wonderful job by ensuring the safety and orderliness of guests without harassments. There was however very strict entry code as one could only gain entrance with an invitation card.
Laredo boss shows off? new equipments
Small chops master, Olanrewaju of Laredo Small Chops showed class at the birthday party as he showed off the new equipments he just imported from Toronto. Coincidentally, the APC national leader?s birthday party was the first place he used them. The young man who started his small chops business in 1996 with headquarters on Lagos Island, is glad he acquired the equipments, to move his business to a higher level.
