Aspiring assembly member for Medie pushes for skills development

Madam Rebecca Ablor, an educationist and an aspiring assembly member for Medie, has called on the people to vote for her to enable her push at the Assembly for skills training.elections

She said the nation was in dire need of technical and vocational skills to move forward and that when given the nod she would canvass at the Assembly for such support for the people, especially the youth of the area to become self-reliant.

Madam Ablor who made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Medie said the gesture would also go a long way in curbing the rural-urban migration for the search of nonexistent white-color jobs.

Madam Ablor said when she becomes the Assemblywoman she would lobby for assistance for the completion of the public place of convenience project which was abandoned eight years ago in the area.

?I would also ensure that speed-ramps are constructed to prevent the killings of the people by vehicular on the main Accra-Nsawam road,? she said.
