Mr Alfred Amoah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, and the Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Asamoah have donated GHS 10, the Bibiani Senior High Technical School Cadet.

The amount was to cover the cost of transportation and feeding of the students for their trip to Accra for a national contest.

The duo, who are past students of the school, stressed that it was their responsibility to support the school in all spheres, hence the donation.

They urged the contingent to work hard to raise the name of the Municipality higher.

Bibiani Senior High Technical School Cadet would compete with 19 other schools for the ultimate prize in the 46th Champion of Champions National Cadet Drills to be held on Wednesday June 29, 2022, at the National Police Training School, Tesano.

The contingent would also mount the Presidential Republic Day Parade at the Black Star Square on Friday July 01, 2022.

It is noteworthy that the government since 2017 had supported the school in diverse ways, including the provision of a 67-seater bus, 400 capacity girl’s dormitory and an ultra-modern dining hall.

The rest were GNPC ICT and Science Laboratory, 990 state of the art desks for teachers and students, 12-seater water closet toilet facilities among others.

Mr Stephen Kwadwo Dandey, the headmaster of the school, expressed his gratitude to the Assembly and the Government in general for the unflinching support with respect to the gesture and the numerous development projects in the school.
He however urged the Government to complete a GETFUND project which had been abandoned for more than a decade.
