Avram Grant Undertakes A School Project in Winneba

Ghana coach Avram Grant is set to make history by building a school for a community in Winneba.

The former Chelsea boss is the first expatriate coach of the Black Stars to undertake such a project.

Black Stars players with the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu are usually the ones to undertake such an initiative.

But Grant, 60, refuses to leave this charitable deed solely to his players as he puts up a school at an unknown location in Winneba.

“Avram Grant is not leaving charity to just the players,” GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Happy FM.

“He [Avram Grant] is putting up a school in Winneba.”

Avram Grant led the Black Stars to the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations just within three weeks of taking up the job.

He is ranked amongst the highest paid coaches on the African continent with a reported monthly wage in excess of $50,000.
